Start by learning Linux inside and out. It’s crucial for DevOps and will serve you well in almost any IT role.
To start off, here's a straightforward path:
1. Gain some experience as a developer first—aim for at least junior to intermediate level.
2. Learn system administration skills.
3. Transition into DevOps from there. It’s a progression that makes a lot of sense!

Instead of aiming strictly for a DevOps role right away, try to explore IT or development more broadly. As you learn, you might find other areas that intrigue you just as much. Focusing on a specific path can be limiting at the start.
