My GPU Burned Out After Just a Few Days – What Should I Do?

I just built a new PC and everything was running smoothly for about 12 hours. Then, out of nowhere, the system shut down. When I tried to restart it, smoke came from the GPU, and now it's completely toast. I contacted the service center, but they told me that burnt GPUs aren't covered by warranty. It's only been three days since I got my PC! I'm using a Corsair 850W 80+ power supply. What are my options here?

That really sucks! You should keep pushing the company for a warranty claim, especially if you've followed all the setup guidelines. Check NVIDIA's website too; they might have some coverage options. If all else fails, try returning the GPU and getting your money back, and look for a different one. Just be cautious and test your PSU to ensure it’s not the culprit behind the burning.

I contacted Gigabyte, but they told me they won't cover the burnt GPU. It's frustrating since it's only the third day of usage!
