I'm having a bit of a dilemma with my GPU—it won't fit in my case because of the six SATA ports on my ROG Strix WiFi motherboard. Is there any way I can modify something, like sanding it down, or do I need to consider other options?

It sounds like you might have an issue with how everything is laid out. If the SATA ports aren't stacked directly on top of each other, there should be a way for the GPU to fit without any modifications. Could you share some photos or details about your setup?
You technically don't need a case at all; you could lay the parts out in open air! Just make sure to safeguard them if you have pets around. Or, a hack saw can help you modify your existing case for a better fit.
Thanks for all the input, everyone! I figured out the issue—it turned out I just had to unscrew something in the case. I had to compromise on looks and cable management, but it worked!
There are a ton of ROG Strix boards, which one are you using? That might help in figuring out any specific issues.
If you're open to it, you could always cut into your case to make room for the GPU. Just make sure you measure everything first! Alternatively, it might be a good idea to invest in a new case that can accommodate your components better.
