Recently, my graphics card stopped functioning properly, and I was advised to send it for repairs to see if it could be salvaged at a reasonable cost. While I'm getting quotes, I'm also contemplating whether I should just buy a new card instead. I use my computer primarily for gaming across various genres, so I'm looking for a replacement that offers similar performance to my previous GPU, but I'm also eager for recommendations on potential upgrades within my budget. Here are the specs of my current setup:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M AORUS ELITE
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: ASUS ROG-STRIX-RX570-O4G-GAMING
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18
- PSU: Corsair RMe Series RM750e 2025
Any tips would be greatly appreciated! (I'm sorry if my English isn't perfect; I'm using a translator.)

For your setup, I’d recommend the RTX 3060 12GB for the best overall upgrade, or if you're on a tighter budget, the RX 6600 works well. The RX 6700 XT is a powerful choice if you're looking to game at 1440p, but it can be pricey.
If you're open to slightly used cards, a 5700 XT would be a great upgrade at around $140, offering double the performance of your RX 570. If budget is tight, you might consider a used 1070 for about $80, which could give you a nice 1.5x performance increase.
I had a 5700 XT and while it was a good card, it did run pretty loud. If you can stretch your budget a bit, aim for an RTX 3060 instead.
I totally get that! I bought two used GPUs, and they lasted me around two years. But now, I'm looking for something new since they offer warranties.
What's your maximum budget for a new GPU?
My max budget is about 400, but since I'm in Chile, prices are quite high, so I might stretch to 500.

Thanks! I checked the RX 6700 XT, but it's beyond my budget—it's nearly three-quarters of the value of my house!
