Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my HDD. Last week, I received a warning indicating that a failure might be on the horizon, and I somehow managed to bypass it. However, since then, my computer has been acting up—it randomly freezes, apps crash, and I've encountered the blue screen of death multiple times. I took it to a shop for a check, and they couldn't replicate the crashes, but right after bringing it back home, I got another blue screen. I've shared some images related to this issue. I'm thinking about replacing my HDD soon, but I'd really appreciate any insights on what's going on and tips on how to prevent this from happening in the future.

For sure, your disk is dying. The bad sector count is increasing, which explains the freezing and crashes. You should definitely replace it before everything fails completely. In the meantime, try to use your computer as little as possible to avoid further issues.
It sounds like your HDD is on its last legs. If you're experiencing random freezes and BSODs, it's a clear sign that you need to replace it as soon as possible. Plan to switch it out with a new drive, ideally an SSD for better performance.
Thanks for the heads up! Any maintenance tips you can share to keep my new drive healthy?
