My High-End PC is Freezing – 100% Disk Usage Issues!

I've been dealing with frequent freezing on my high-end PC for about 10 months now, and it's driving me crazy! I bought a prebuilt system from a smaller company called Radium PCs, but something seems off. My computer hangs multiple times a day, causing games to lag and apps to freeze for about 5 to 15 minutes at a time. Just yesterday, while playing Doom Eternal, it crashed completely and took an unusually long time to reboot. I noticed that my disk usage often spikes to 100%, especially with System and Registry processes, no matter what I have open—whether it's Opera GX, Firefox, or Roblox. I've tried contacting the company for help, but I haven't heard back. Here are my specs: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI, 32GB of DDR5 memory, Lexar SSD NM610PRO 2TB, and I'm running Windows 10. It's even watercooled, though I can't recall the details since they don't list my model anymore. I'm really at my wit's end here!

If they're not responding, keep trying to contact Radium PCs since they offer a 36-month warranty. You should also check your Windows Event Viewer for any errors around the times when the freezing happens; those logs can provide valuable clues on what’s causing the issue.

I found some errors related to "distributedcom" and "stornvme". The DistributedCOM error is about the Game Bar, which I thought I uninstalled, and the stornvme warnings mention resetting to a device.

Have you made sure your Windows and NVIDIA drivers are up to date? Also, what power supply unit (PSU) are you using? That can sometimes lead to issues like these during heavy usage.

I updated the NVIDIA drivers today, but it didn’t help. The PSU is Hydro G Pro.
