My HP ENVY x360 Can’t Detect the Network Card After Reinstalling Windows 10, Help?

I recently reinstalled Windows 10 on my HP ENVY x360 m Convertible, which previously ran on Linux. I didn't have any important files, so I went ahead with the installation. Now, I'm facing a problem where the network card is not being detected at all. I've checked the device manager, including hidden devices, and I've tried installing the correct drivers. I've also looked into the BIOS but found no relevant settings there. I'm really stuck here and would appreciate any help to resolve this issue.

You might want to boot from a live Linux USB to see if the network card works there. It'll help you figure out if the issue is with the hardware or something in Windows.

I tested using a Linux live OS before switching to Windows, and it connected to the Internet just fine, so I think it’s a software issue on Windows.

Have you thought about trying out Windows 11 instead? It could potentially resolve compatibility issues with your network card.
