I'm having a frustrating issue with my laptop running Windows. It simply doesn't give me the option to connect to WiFi, despite trying all the usual fixes like checking the device manager, uninstalling and reinstalling the WiFi icon, and restarting everything. I've also verified that my router is working fine. Unfortunately, I'm in a tight spot since I can't go to a store to get help because of the time zone. I really need this laptop working as soon as possible. Any advice?

Have you checked if there's a manual toggle switch on your laptop? Some older models have them, and it can be an easy fix. Just a thought!
If you're in a real pinch, consider using a USB WiFi adapter. They’re quite handy and you can just plug it in for a quick fix until you sort out the internal WiFi issues.
Make sure your WiFi adapter is listed in the device manager. If it's there but you're still having problems, that could be a clue to what's wrong.
Here's a screenshot I took. It shows the adapter, but it keeps giving me errors even after I uninstall and reinstall it.
Sometimes these issues stem from the drivers. You might want to roll back to an older driver. In device manager, right-click the device, choose to update driver, select 'browse my computer for drivers,' then pick an older version from the list. It could just do the trick!
It's also possible that your WiFi adapter is loose inside the laptop if it's an M.2 type. If your laptop is new, I'd recommend taking it back to the store where you bought it. They should be able to help with repairs or replacements if it's not working right.

I looked for that, but my laptop is pretty new and doesn’t seem to have a manual switch.
