A week ago, my laptop just shut down on me while I was in the middle of playing WuWa. Surprisingly, it turned back on today when I pressed the power button. Should I take it to get checked out? Any ideas on why it shut down in the first place and how I can prevent this from happening again?

Definitely consider taking it in! If it overheated, cleaning out the dust inside the case might help. You could also grab a laptop cooling pad to keep it from getting too hot. Just to be safe, I’d back up your stuff too in case it's something more serious down the line.
It's hard to say for sure if you should get it checked since your laptop is working now. But if it just shut down like that, it might be worth looking into. If you do, the tech probably won't find anything wrong, especially if everything's peachy now.
