My laptop keeps crashing after updating to Windows 11 – any solutions?

I've got a Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 11, and lately, my system has been crashing frequently, sometimes to the point of shutting down completely. I thought the updates might be the culprit, but even when I try uninstalling them, I still run into crashes. I've already reset my BIOS, replaced the thermal paste, and cleaned out dust from my processor and disks. What else can I try to fix this?

I don't think the updates are actually causing your laptop to crash. It sounds more like you're having driver issues that prevent it from booting properly. If things don’t improve, consider rolling back the updates.

Hold on a sec – are you saying you reset your BIOS? Just a heads up, making changes there can lead to data loss if you’re not careful. Always ensure you have backups before tampering with your system settings.

Resetting is a bad idea. Instead, make sure to back up your data, then do a secure wipe of your drive. After that, perform a fresh install using the Windows USB installer. This way, you'll get the latest version of Windows without carrying over old problems from updates.

Just to clarify, when you say 'burning your PC,' are you referring to it overheating, or are you using that phrase loosely? It's important to differentiate what issues you're experiencing. Also, it's a bit confusing since you mentioned resetting your BIOS and thermal paste. It might help to explain that part a little more.
