My laptop only charges if I turn it off and reset the battery every time I want to plug it in. Once I do that, it works, but I can't keep doing this every time I need to charge it. The charger works fine with other devices like my phone and tablet. I even tried using my phone charger to see if it would recognize it, but it's not powerful enough for my laptop. Plus, I can't troubleshoot this through the power troubleshooter on Windows 11 since it doesn't support that feature. Any advice on how to fix this issue without having to buy an expensive original charger?

I have an Acer Swift and the charger I got is 65W.
If it's only four months old, I'd look into returning it. But maybe the issue is just that charger you're using. It might not be worth keeping if it’s causing problems. Just my two cents!
Totally agree, non-OEM chargers can cause more harm than good. They might work for a while, but there's a chance of damaging your laptop.
