I'm new to using laptops and PCs, and I'm having some serious issues with my Samsung laptop that I got for school last year. Here are the problems I'm facing:
1) The laptop overheats really quickly – it can get hot enough to burn my hand just after a few minutes of browsing on Google.
2) The gaming panel shows it's running at just 1.15GHz, while I thought it should be able to reach up to 3.80GHz.
3) It's extremely slow and often freezes for no reason.
I'm not sure if these issues are normal or if I've misjudged what my laptop can do. It has decent specs: Intel Core Ultra 7 155H at 3.80GHz and 32GB of RAM. The device ID is BOOK-ITJHI6L6OL.

It sounds like your cooling system might be blocked or malfunctioning. Make sure you're using it on a flat surface and that the vents are clear. Also, if you have pets, their hair can clog up the fans. Do you have a warranty? If so, it might be worth contacting support.
I usually keep it on a lift rack to avoid blocking the vents. No pets in the house, and I don’t see much dust around where I use it. I do have a warranty but can’t use it until next month because I need to go back to the store.
