My Laptop Won’t Start After a Blue Screen – Help!

Yesterday, my laptop crashed with a blue screen, but I managed to fix it by watching some YouTube tutorials. It was running smoothly until last night at around 11 PM. Now, when I try to start it this morning at 10 AM, all I get is a black screen with just one light on. I've tried turning it on about 10-12 times, and even plugged it in to charge, but nothing is happening. I really need this laptop for my studies, as my family can't afford to buy me another one, even a second-hand device. Can anyone help me figure out what to do?

It sounds like you're dealing with a pretty frustrating issue! First off, if your laptop does start up, see if you can get into Windows or Safe Mode. If you can, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs from the blue screens. These logs might give us clues about what went wrong. If you find any dump files, zip them up and upload them to a file sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com, and share the link here. If you don’t have any dump files, I can help you set things so Windows saves them next time. Good luck!

When you try turning on your laptop, what lights are showing? Different models have different indicators. It would be helpful to know the model of your laptop so we can narrow down the issue. Can you share that?

I have the HP 15s. There are two indicator lights: one for power and one for RAM. When I turn it on, the power light blinks, but the RAM light doesn't blink at all.
