I've had my Aftershock FORGE 15X laptop for about a year, and it's running Windows 11. Recently, it's been stuck on the startup screen with the logo, displaying "preparing automatic repair," and nothing else happens. I've already tried holding the power button for 20 seconds as suggested by support, but that didn't work. I'm turning to the community for help since support has been pretty unhelpful. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your operating system might be corrupted. This can happen due to software issues or possibly if your storage drive has a defect. I recommend trying to repair or reinstall Windows using a USB installation medium. You can find how to create one using Microsoft's guide here: https://support.microsoft.com/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d.
Reinstalling Windows from a USB stick has about a 95% success rate for fixing these kinds of problems. If you want to recover any files first, you might need a Linux live disk and your BitLocker key to get access to your data.
I'm currently trying to do that and will update if it works.

I tried that, but I'm still stuck on the black screen with the logo. Any other ideas?
