I have a Windows 11 laptop that I accidentally left asleep overnight. Now when I try to wake it up, the power button is completely unresponsive, even though the laptop is plugged in and the fans are running. Unlike my old laptop, this one doesn't have a removable battery. Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this issue?

Have you tried holding down the power button for a few seconds to force it to turn off? It usually works for these situations. If that doesn’t do anything, you might want to disconnect it, let the battery die, then plug it back in and see if that resolves anything. Once your laptop is back up, consider disabling features like Windows Fast Boot and Hibernation, as they can cause issues like this sometimes.
What brand and model is your laptop? For some models, like newer Lenovos, you can use a paperclip to press a hidden reset button located on the bottom (power off first). Otherwise, if you're not using a Lenovo, a full power cycle may be your best bet.
It sounds like the power button might be misaligned or damaged. If you're comfortable with it, try opening the laptop to check the button's alignment. If you're not sure about this, it's safer to seek professional help to avoid any potential damage.
