My Laptop’s Battery Capacity is Only 313 mWh—What’s Going On?

I've been having a major issue with my laptop's battery lately. Even though it shows 100% charge, it only works when it's plugged in. If I unplug it, the screen goes dark in about a minute. I've tried reinstalling the battery drivers, but no luck. I ran the battery report through the command prompt, and here are my battery stats. Am I looking at a dead battery here?

It sounds like your battery is failing. Have you tried doing a rundown test? Like, when you unplug it, does it just die immediately?

I’m not sure what a rundown test is exactly, but when I unplug mine, it only lasts a minute before going black.

Definitely check your laptop model. Some models, like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga, are known for battery issues. If it's failing, you might need a replacement soon.
