I'm having trouble fitting my MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max Wifi motherboard into my Corsair Frame 4000D RS ARGB case. The issue is that the I/O shield from the motherboard is too wide, preventing it from fitting correctly. Both components are labeled as ATX, and the standoffs align, but the I/O shield is causing all sorts of issues. I haven't found any helpful information on this, and it's my first build, so I might be missing something. If you need more details, let me know. Thanks!

It sounds like a frustrating situation! I suggest uploading a picture of the I/O shield not fitting, as the sizes are generally standardized. It could help us understand what's going wrong. Also, make sure you're aligning the motherboard correctly with the standoffs before trying to push it into place. Usually, the shield should just fit in without too much hassle.
Your I/O shield might just need to be pushed into the case a bit more. Sometimes it can be a snug fit. Make sure that your shield is positioned on the inside part of the case opening while you screw in the motherboard. It should flex a little bit; that's totally normal!
I can't get it secured because the standoffs don't align with how the shield fits. What should I do?

I just posted a pic; it shows that the shield goes beyond the mounting point. What should I try next?
