I turned on my laptop, and the mouse lights up as usual, but when I try to move it, the cursor doesn't budge, and clicking does nothing either. Is my mouse broken, or is there a way I can troubleshoot and fix this?

I see you mentioned it's a wired mouse. Have you tried cleaning the sensor on the bottom? Sometimes dust can block it. Also, if you've already tried different USB ports and it's still not working, it might be time to consider getting a new one.
If your mouse is wireless, make sure the battery is good and that the switch under the module is set to 'on'. For a wired mouse, try unplugging it and plugging it back in, or switch to a different USB port to see if that helps.
