Out of nowhere, my mouse just quit working. I initially thought it was broken since I accidentally got a bit of water on it, so I switched to a different mouse, but that one isn't functioning either, regardless of which USB port I use. Strangely, the software that comes with the new mouse installed without issue. I've tried reinstalling the mouse drivers, and it doesn't respond even in the BIOS. What should I do now?

It sounds like you might have shorted out a USB port. It could be worth trying another port. Just to note, if you plugged your headset into a different port and it works fine, that may indicate a bigger issue with the mouse.
Have you rebooted your computer yet? Sometimes a simple restart can reset things.
Don't forget to check the batteries if your new mouse is wireless. It might just need a fresh set!
Is it wired or wireless? That can really help narrow down the issue.
And hey, if your computer is off, make sure to turn it on! Sometimes we overlook the basics.
