My New PC Keeps Crashing: Is It Hardware or Software?

I recently built my first PC, and I'm having some serious stability issues. It keeps crashing about every 30 minutes, even when I'm in the BIOS! Here are a few details: I've tried changing settings in the BIOS and it froze on me twice. Also, my Bluetooth isn't working, and my Wi-Fi doesn't show up. Sometimes I get this distorted black screen with an error message that says, "your PC ran into a problem, restarting," but it goes away too quickly for me to read. The most common issue is when the screen goes black while the PC is still running, and I can't turn it off unless I hold the power button for a long time. Sometimes it just restarts on its own with no warning. I want to fix this because it's really frustrating switching apps and having my PC restart unexpectedly. The only thing I think might be wrong with the hardware is that a few pins on the back of the motherboard were slightly bent, but they didn't seem to interfere with each other. Can someone help me troubleshoot this?

Hey, do you have an Intel 13th or 14th gen CPU? That could be a factor. If you do, check if your motherboard supports it fully. If not, it might be time to update your BIOS to the latest version, which can help with compatibility and stability issues.

I’d suggest taking a closer look at those pins on the back of your motherboard. Even if they seem fine, bent pins can lead to all sorts of random issues. If they’re not making solid connections, it can cause crashes. Consider posting some pictures for us to take a look.

Trying to install the latest BIOS might help, but if it's crashing while you do that, it could be more serious. If possible, share any logs or error codes you've come across; that might give us more clues to help you out.
