Hey everyone! I've got a brand new PC from Ironside Computers, but it's been crashing since day one, even right out of the box. I've already checked the drivers and installed any Windows 11 updates available. Here's the weird part: the crashes only happen when I'm not gaming. When I'm playing resource-heavy games like Helldivers 2, everything runs fine. But if I'm just browsing online or leaving the PC idle, it crashes after about 30 minutes. There are no error messages or BSOD; the screen just freezes, and sometimes my keyboard goes off. I have to restart using the power button because there's no other way to revive it. After restarting, there's never any indication of a problem. I've run the /scannow command, and it said everything's okay, but in the event logger, I see these errors:
1. The luafv service failed to start due to this error: This driver has been blocked from loading.
2. Windows failed to install the latest security update (error 0x80004005).
3. I encountered a timeout while waiting for the Intel Platform License Manager to connect.
4. There are updated secure boot certificates available but haven't been applied yet.
Here are my PC specs:
- CPU: Intel Core Ultra 5 225F (10 Core)
- RAM: 64GB DDR5 6000
- SSD: 4TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
- PSU: 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold PCIE 5.0

It might also help to gather more detailed info about your system. There’s a tool called Specify that collects system logs and OS info. If you download it and run it, it will generate a report you can share with us. This way, we can dig deeper into what's happening with your PC!
By the way, do you have any software from Riot Games installed? I've heard that can sometimes conflict and cause crashes for certain systems. Just something to consider.
Are you using the latest BIOS for your motherboard? Sometimes, outdated BIOS can lead to stability issues. Just double-check on the manufacturer's support page for any recent updates and give that a shot.
It sounds like you're having a rough time! First things first, can you check for any dump files? They help diagnose crashes. You can find them in C:WindowsMinidump. If you have any, zip up the folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire. It's best to share multiple dump files if you can. If you're not finding any dump files, consider adjusting your settings for small memory dumps to make sure they get created when crashes happen. Let's pin this down together!
