My New PC Suddenly Isn’t Working—What Do I Do?

I just got a brand new PC yesterday, and after a single use, I'm running into a major issue. I shut it down properly and didn't do anything unusual. I've installed all the recent updates, but today when I logged in, none of the Windows functions are working. I can't access the start menu, the settings app is unresponsive, and even the search bar isn't functioning. I've tried restarting the Windows Explorer and performing a quick corruption check, but everything seems fine. I'm really stuck here!

Just an update, the problem persists with all default apps. I can't open settings or do much at all. I tried using PowerShell to reinstall the default apps, but that didn't work either.

Hey, is this a prebuilt PC you're using? Sometimes, issues can arise from the manufacturer’s setup.

Unfortunately, it is a prebuilt.

I'd recommend heading back to the seller and asking them to take a look at it. They might have seen similar issues before and can help you troubleshoot or replace it.
