I've just built a new PC, but I'm facing a frustrating issue. After waiting for 15 minutes, the screen is still black, and I'm unsure what to do next. My Asus B650E Gaming Max WiFi motherboard isn't showing any error signals, so should I keep waiting? I'm connected via DisplayPort on the GPU and using the A2 and B2 RAM slots. Everything seems powered on, but I can't get any display. I even removed all components except the CPU and one stick of RAM, and I managed to access the BIOS, but I suspect something might be wrong with the M.2 drive.

Is your BIOS updated? It might be worth checking. Typically, you'd boot your system first, then use a USB drive to update the BIOS if needed.
You didn’t mention what GPU or PSU you’re using, but make sure your PSU can handle your GPU's power requirements. If you're using a PCIe to 12VHPWR adapter, confirm that you’re using one PCIe connection per leg of the adapter. Are the GPU fans spinning up when you power it on?
It usually shouldn't take that long for a first boot, so 15 minutes sounds excessive. First, ensure all your cables are properly connected, and check that your monitor is set to the right input. Try unplugging and replugging it just to rule out any connection issues. If that doesn’t help, consider switching to different ports or cables altogether.
Have you checked whether your monitor is actually turned on? Sometimes it's the simple things that trip us up!
