My Parents’ Computer Won’t Send Input to the Monitor – Any Ideas?

I'm having trouble with my parents' computer. When my dad booted it up today, the monitor didn't recognize any input. I've done some basic checks: the monitor works fine with another computer, and the boot drive is also functional in a different machine. The fans are running too, so I don't think it's a motherboard issue. Since the computer relies on integrated graphics and seems to be working otherwise, I'm wondering if the CPU has failed. Before I order a cheap CPU from Amazon, is there anything else I might be overlooking? The computer is about 8 years old, and here's the part list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/YB3Njc

Have you checked for any error beeps or lights on the motherboard when it boots? Sometimes those can give you clues about what's going wrong.

I saw a light on the ethernet port, but no beeps from the speaker connected to the motherboard. I also reset the CMOS by removing the battery and putting it back.
