My PC is acting up after a DSIM image cleanup—what should I do?

Hey everyone, I'm using Windows 11 and ran into a huge problem. My game bar wouldn't respond when I pressed Windows + G, so I ran an SFC scan, but that didn't help. I then tried a DSIM image cleanup, thinking it would fix things. At first, everything seemed okay, but shortly after, my computer froze completely, and my mouse is moving at a painfully slow 1 FPS. I'm kind of at a loss here—any ideas on how to get my system back to normal?

Have you tried just rebooting your computer? Sometimes, a simple restart can clear up minor glitches after running those maintenance commands.

Yeah, I did reboot it, but the problem persists.

It sounds like you might need to consider a factory reset since the usual fixes aren’t working. If you can’t access anything, you may have to reformat and reinstall Windows using a USB drive. Be aware that if there’s an issue with your storage, the factory reset won't work either.

Exactly! Start with the easiest components. Good luck!

Definitely look into a full fresh reinstall! You can download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website. If that fails as well, there could be a hardware problem—check your hard drive or RAM first.
