I've been encountering an issue with my PC lately. It unexpectedly shuts down during high load moments, and this started happening just a few days ago. I'm using Linux Mint, and I hadn't had any problems prior to this. My setup includes a 9060 XT GPU, an Intel i5 14400F processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 700-watt PSU. I need help figuring out if my PSU is failing or if there's something else I can do to fix this. Additionally, there are no error messages or kernel panics, the PC just turns off without warning.

It sounds like a frustrating situation! When a PC shuts down like that, it's usually due to either overheating or a failing PSU. First, check the temperatures of your CPU and GPU to see if they're running high. If they are, your CPU might be shutting down to protect itself. Dust buildup can often be the culprit, so clean the fans and components. Also, make sure all your power cables are securely connected. If temperatures are normal, then the PSU might be the issue. As a temporary fix, you can look into BIOS settings to see if there are power-saving features that limit the power draw during high usage.

Also, if you're comfortable, consider reapplying thermal paste on your CPU since it can help with overheating issues. Just make sure you do it properly to avoid any damage!
