Hey everyone, I've been having some trouble with my PC lately. It's starting up super slowly and showing 100% CPU usage. I've done some reading online and it seems like it could be related to my SSD or some hardware issue, but everything checks out fine on my end. According to the task manager, both Task Manager and Opera are taking up most of the CPU, but this happens with any app I open. I've tried a few things already, and Windows Defender hasn't found any problems or malware. Plus, I believe all my drivers are updated. I'm running an Intel Core i5-12600K with a Zotac Gaming 3070 Ti. I'm not necessarily looking for a fix, just some help identifying what might be causing this issue.

You should check how fast your CPU is boosting. Sometimes, if it's not boosting correctly, it can lead to issues like this. But if you're not very tech-savvy, don't worry too much about the specifics. Just knowing the boosting frequency could help narrow down the problem!
Have you checked the temperatures of your CPU? It could be overheating, which can cause your CPU to throttle and work harder than usual. You might want to use a tool like HWInfo64 to monitor temps while running your most-used applications. Also, keep an eye on the task manager to see what's consuming the CPU the most. It might give you clues!
My temps look fine. Task Manager and Opera are definitely the top users right now, but it seems like it's any app that opens.
Honestly, I'm not very tech-savvy and I don't fully understand the boosting frequency thing.
