I've been troubleshooting my Aorus B450 Elite motherboard running Windows 11 for a couple of hours now. The issue is that when I disable CSM support, my PC doesn't recognize any boot drives, though it does see my SSD in the SATA information. This means I'm stuck at the BIOS screen. When I enable CSM support, my drives are recognized, but I get a 'Reboot and select proper boot device' error when I try to boot up, which happens in both UEFI and Legacy modes. My SSD is set as the priority in the boot order. This all started today after I unplugged my headphones for my laptop yesterday. When I plugged them back in, everything seemed fine until I tried to shut down the PC, which became unresponsive. I ended up doing a hard shutdown by holding the power button, and I'm worried that might have damaged my Windows installation.

Be careful when tweaking BIOS settings; they can affect your data. It's also worth checking if your system had updates before the shutdown. It might be worth trying a fresh install of Windows using a USB, especially if you have important files backed up elsewhere. Just connect the SSD, boot using UEFI, and see if that helps.
Without knowing your specific motherboard model, it’s hard to troubleshoot, but if you're still getting that error, the boot partition might be corrupted. A fresh install might be a good idea to start clean.
Seems like the forced shutdown might have corrupted your boot files. A reinstall of Windows could be the best way forward. You can also try the repair option if you can access it, but I haven't had much luck with that myself.
