I've been having a rough time with my PC crashing frequently ever since I took it in for some work. Initially, I had issues with the Windows Store and Microsoft apps, and after a few hours of use, I kept getting a Vulkan error code. Although I managed to fix the Vulkan issue and even got my Microsoft apps working again by reinstalling Windows, I've encountered more problems. The game bar was broken for a time, but I sorted that out myself. Now, my computer crashes periodically—especially after its first crash, it usually blue screens shortly after startup and typically does this within 5 to 60 seconds. I suspect these issues really began when I upgraded to Windows 11, and things seem to have worsened with each update. My specs are below:
- GPU: Nvidia 3090ti 24GB
- CPU: i9-99000k (not sure why I had those Vulkan errors)
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG (can't find the exact model in time on my PC)
- RAM: 64GB
I'm really at my wits' end here and could use any help you can offer!

When you're dealing with BSOD issues, the first thing I'd recommend is checking for an outdated BIOS. Also keep an eye on your drivers and firmware—they need to be updated as well. Look for updates directly on the manufacturer's website; sometimes Windows Update can help too, but those updates are usually under 'optional'.
First off, make sure to check your system's event viewer under the system tab right after a crash. Look for event IDs that relate to your crashes; common ones might be 41 or 6008. This can really give you clues on what's going wrong.

So, would I just go to the ASUS website and look for BIOS updates from there? I'm already using DDU to reinstall my graphic drivers based on another suggestion.
