My PC Keeps Crashing – Need Help Troubleshooting

I've been having problems with my computer crashing frequently, and I want to know if there might be an issue with my hardware. I ran CrystalDiskInfo, and my main hard drive shows a health status of 98%, which seems fine. However, when my PC crashes, it goes to a black screen and sounds like it bluescreen restarts, especially while I'm playing games installed on my HDD. What could be causing this?

Before diving deeper, have you checked if there are any firmware updates for your HDD or SSD? Sometimes, outdated firmware can lead to all sorts of problems. If that checks out, consider monitoring your temperatures while gaming as thermal throttling might also be the culprit.

Crashing can be tricky! When you say it goes black screen, do you mean the whole screen goes black, or do you get a bluescreen? If it’s bluescreening, that can indicate a driver issue. Make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially your graphics driver. Also, ensure your system isn’t overheating, as that can cause crashes during gaming.

Your hard drive looks good based on the report. To address the crashing, let's first check your system files. If you’re using Windows, run the command "SFC /scannow" in an elevated command prompt. This command scans for any corrupted system files and repairs them. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try running "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth" to fix any stubborn problems.
