I've been experiencing frequent crashes with my PC lately. Initially, it started with some issues in RV, then it happened while playing ARC Raiders, and today, while trying to play Escape from Tarkov, it crashed as well. Notably, EFT wasn't installed via Steam. Here's everything I've tried so far to fix the issue:
- Fresh Windows install
- Disabled all in-game overlays (from Discord and Steam)
- Turned off all AMD presets
- Ran a CPU test using Cinebench (which passed)
- Ran a GPU test with Heaven (also passed)
- Tested the RAM using Memtest86 (it passed)
- Checked all connections
- Reinstalled drivers for both GPU and CPU
The Event Viewer indicates there's a major component failure, but all my tests have been passing and temperatures are normal. My build includes:
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
- x550 Motherboard
- 16GB DDR4 RAM
- 750 Watt Gold PSU
I've noticed my RAM is reaching its limits, but I doubt that maxing it out would lead to a complete system failure. I'm planning to upgrade to 32GB of RAM to see if that resolves the problem.

What version of drivers are you using for your 7900XTX? I had a similar instability issue, and I found that rolling back to an earlier driver version helped stabilize my system. Worth checking out!

I'm currently using driver version 25.30.17.01-260108a-197640C from AMD's Adrenalin Edition. Could trying an older version really make a difference?
