I'm having this frustrating problem where my PC freezes randomly and makes a buzzing noise like "brrrrt." I have to hard restart it every time it happens, and it even freezes during boot-up sometimes. I suspected it might be a RAM issue, so I removed both RAM sticks, cleaned the contacts gently, and reinstalled them. Initially, I didn't install them properly, which caused a beeping sound, but after ensuring they were seated correctly, there was no beeping, so it seems to have detected the RAM. However, now the CPU fan's light isn't on, even though it's spinning, and I'm getting no display with no peripherals responding. Here are my specs: Ryzen 5 9600X, GTX 1660 OC, Crucial 8GB DDR5 x2, Gigabyte B650M, 750W Gold PSU, 1TB WD Blue SSD. Can anyone help me figure out what went wrong or if my RAM sticks are done for?

You might want to try updating your BIOS if your motherboard has a button on the rear I/O. Also, booting with minimal configuration can help—try using just one stick of DDR5 without the GPU or SSD attached. It might help isolate the problem.
Have you checked if the CPU is seated properly? Also, make sure all your cables are connected snugly. Sometimes a loose cable can cause issues like this. Just a thought!

I double-checked all the cables and the CPU seating, and everything seems fine. This all started after I removed the RAM, though.
