My PC Keeps Freezing While Gaming – What Should I Do?

I've built a new PC just a few months ago, and lately, I've been experiencing random freezes while gaming. Both of my monitors go black, but the PC itself stays powered on with all fans running and lights on. The only way to get it back up is to flip the power switch on the PSU. Initially, I thought it might be overheating, but my CPU was at 50°C and GPU at 42°C when it froze. I'm also unsure if it's a power supply issue since it doesn't turn off after freezing. These crashes are sudden and only happen during games, with no lag beforehand. Here are my specs:

- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard: AsRock X870 Pro RS WiFi
- GPU: MSI Ventus 3X 5070ti
- PSU: Corsair RMe 750W
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 2x16GB 6400MHz

Before this, I had a 4070ti, which only crashed while playing Monster Hunter Wilds. Now, with the new GPU, I'm facing crashes in multiple games, including Schedule 1, BG3, and Rogue Trader. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Are you running your RAM at 6400 MHz? If so, try lowering it to a more stable speed, like 6000 or 6200 MHz. Sometimes that high speed can cause instability. Also, check the Windows Event Viewer for any critical errors that appear around the time your PC freezes. You can also try setting your GPU PCIe slot to Gen 4 instead of auto. There have been reports of issues with 50 series cards on some motherboards if they're set to Gen 5 or auto.

I did lower my RAM to 6000 MHz and updated my drivers per your recommendation, and so far I've played Monster Hunter Wilds for almost two hours without freezing!
