My PC Keeps Restarting After a Few Seconds—What Should I Do?

I bought a prebuilt gaming PC that has been running smoothly for about 2.5 years, but now I'm facing a frustrating issue. It powers on for just a few seconds before restarting repeatedly. I didn't update or download anything before this started. I have to hit the power switch at the back to stop the loop. I'm wondering if it might be the power button on the case, but I've also read that usually, it could be the power supply or RAM causing this. I'm not sure how to diagnose it since it won't stay on long enough. Here are my specs: GPU is an NVIDIA 3080 Ti, CPU is an Intel i9-11900K, motherboard is an Asus Prime Z-590V, and I've got Oloy 3600 MHz CL16 RAM. The power supply is a 750W DQ 750-M-V2L, which supposedly has a 10-year warranty and is 80 Plus Gold rated. I found it at a great deal on New Egg, but now it seems like something has gone wrong. By the way, the case is a budget Rosewill model, but temperatures have always been good, with the GPU running around 69–70 degrees Celsius. Any help would be appreciated! I have a video of the issue, but I can't attach it here.

First off, I suggest reseating the RAM; it's often the culprit in situations like this—I'd say it's the issue 9 times out of 10. After that, check all your power supply connections to make sure they’re solid. If you’ve done that and it's still a no-go, it’s likely your PSU. Remember, with an i9-11900K and a 3080 Ti, you're putting a lot of load on that 750W supply, so make sure it’s up to the task.

If reseating the RAM doesn't help and your PSU connections are all tight, then it might indeed be the PSU itself. They can degrade over time, especially under heavy loads. You might want to look into getting a higher wattage PSU for safety—something around 850W could give you a bit of buffer.
