Hey everyone! I'm reaching out because I'm really stumped with a problem I'm having. Whenever I try to game, my PC freezes after about five minutes. The audio starts to glitch, and then it just restarts on its own. I've checked the temperatures on both the CPU and GPU, and they look perfectly fine. I even did a clean install of Windows and tried running the check disk command in the prompt. However, my event viewer keeps logging a kernel power error (event ID 41) around the time of the crashes. I'm really hoping someone can provide some insight because I'd rather avoid taking it to a repair shop where I might get ripped off. Here are my specs: Windows 11 Home 64-bit, Intel i9-10850k, Nvidia 3080, and 32GB of RAM.

It sounds like there might be an issue with your power supply. Since you’ve ruled out overheating and software glitches, testing the power supply could give you some clues. If it's not providing stable power, it can definitely cause those kinds of crashes while gaming. Have you ever checked if your PSU is delivering consistent voltage? You might want to get a multimeter for that if you're comfortable. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve got a Corsair RM650X. I’m not really sure how to test it though. Any tips?
