I've had my PC for about 7 years, and it randomly shuts down every so often. The only way I've found to get it running again is by messing with the 24-pin power cable. When this happens, the computer seems to be running (the RAM lights are on), but nothing shows up on the screen, and the fans are off. I've tried unplugging and plugging the 24-pin cable back in, but that's just a temporary fix. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and how did you solve it?

Sounds like you've got a loose connection issue. Have you replaced the PSU or motherboard in that time? If not, it might be worth checking those out. The 24-pin connector should click in securely; if it’s not, it could be worth replacing that part or at least inspecting it for any damage.
I've never replaced either of those. I've moved a lot since I built it, so I don't think it's the wiring in my house. What do you mean by needing to check for a 'click'? It clicks when I plug it in, if that's what you're referring to.
