Hey everyone! So back in 2019, I got a custom built PC from Ironside, and it worked pretty well for a while. Recently, I decided to upgrade almost everything, expecting a significant boost in performance. However, I've noticed my PC starts up super slowly and struggles to run games like Warzone – it even crashes after just a few minutes, and I've tried safe mode too. Honestly, it feels almost as laggy as my old PC! I spent over $1000 on these new parts after reading great reviews, so I'm really frustrated. Also, it keeps prompting me to update my ASUS drivers, but the update never actually completes. Could this be why my PC is running so poorly? How can I manually update the drivers? Any recommended tutorials or videos would be super helpful since I'm still learning about this stuff. Thanks a lot!

First off, make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your motherboard, CPU, and GPU. Outdated drivers can really slow down performance. If updating the drivers doesn’t help, it might be worth checking if your motherboard's BIOS is up to date too. That could make a big difference!
It looks like your specs are solid, but did you do a fresh Windows install after adding the new SSD? That’s often a good idea after upgrades to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you didn't, that could be part of your problem.
Nope, I actually bought the SSD a couple of days after the upgrades, so I didn’t do a fresh install. Should I try that?
Thanks for the tip! How do I actually go about updating the BIOS? I feel kind of lost on this.
