My PC won’t boot and shuts off immediately – is it a PSU issue?

I'm having trouble get my PC to boot up. My setup includes an MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, a 9800X3D CPU, and 32GB of Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 RAM, powered by a Corsair RM850x 850W PSU. When I try to boot it, the CPU and DRAM lights come on, but the system either doesn't boot at all or shuts off right away. I noticed that when I plug in my GPU, there are no debug lights at all. Could this be a power supply issue?

If you're not getting any debug lights with the GPU plugged in, that’s a telling sign. It suggests that the GPU could either be faulty or there might be an issue with the PSU not providing enough power for the GPU. Make sure all connections are secure too.

It might be worth trying to boot without the GPU connected to see if it can start with just the integrated graphics. That could help you rule out whether the GPU is causing the issue. If it boots fine that way, then your GPU might be the culprit here.
