I'm having a major issue with my PC. Whenever I try to turn it on, it just gets stuck on the 'Preparing automatic repair' message and doesn't boot up. I've already tried switching out the hard drive, but that didn't solve the problem. I attempted to reinstall Windows using two different bootable USB drives, yet neither has worked. I've also swapped the RAM modules between slots and tested them individually, but I'm still facing the same issue. I tested my Ryzen 5 5500 processor in another computer, and it functioned perfectly there. The only access I have is to the BIOS, and while it detects all the components, I can't get past the initial freeze. I'm starting to wonder if the power supply (an XPG Pylon 750W) might be at fault. Any suggestions?

Have you considered unplugging all extra drives and leaving just the main OS drive connected? Sometimes a failing SSD can cause boot issues like this.
Don't forget to check BIOS settings! Disabling fast boot and resetting your motherboard by removing the battery could also be a good step. Sometimes the motherboard can be the culprit.
It sounds like there could be an issue with your boot configuration. Did you happen to restart or power off during the automatic repair process? That might have messed things up a bit.
If you think the OS didn't fully install and it's in a boot loop, that could explain the issue. You might need to wipe the drive, but if you can't get to the installation part, that might be tricky. Keep troubleshooting!
If you're still having trouble, try creating a bootable Linux USB drive from another computer to check your hardware. If everything seems fine, maybe wiping the drive and reinstalling Windows could help.
