My PC Won’t Boot Properly After Not Being Used for Months

I haven't used my computer in a couple of months, and when I tried to power it on today, it would turn on for a few seconds, shut off, and then turn back on again. The motherboard seems to be getting power, but my mouse and keyboard weren't responsive, and the monitor stayed off. After about 10 minutes, the screen turned on by itself, and the mouse and keyboard started working. It ran fine for about 3 hours, but then the screen froze. Now I'm facing the same problem again—my computer appears to be on, but there's no display, and the mouse and keyboard aren't responding.

Have you tried re-seating your RAM? Sometimes it can help with boot issues. Just make sure your power is off before you do anything.

I didn’t build my PC myself. Can you recommend a good video on how to do it, or should I just bring it to a professional?
