I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC. It starts up and boots to BIOS just fine, but then it gets stuck on a gray screen and won't fully boot into Windows. Any ideas on what might be wrong or how I can fix this?

Yeah, it seems like your drive has died. If that's true, your best bet is to get a new drive and install Windows on that. Just make sure you have a backup of your data or any installation media you need.
It sounds like your hard drive might have failed if the BIOS can still detect it. This can often happen, and if that’s the case, you'll need to replace it. How comfortable are you with reinstalling the operating system afterward?
