My PC Won’t Start After Removing the GPU, Any Ideas?

I was planning to sell my GPU to my cousin, so I removed it to see if my PC could run on the integrated graphics instead. I disconnected the GPU and connected the HDMI cable to the motherboard, but when I tried to boot it up, the PC wouldn't start. I only saw a red LED on the case, with no display or BIOS appearing. I also tried reconnecting the GPU and plugging the HDMI cable back into it, but the issue persisted—the same red LED stayed on, and the blue LED didn't light up. The fans for both the CPU and GPU were spinning normally during all these attempts. My setup consists of a GT 740 4 GB GPU and an Asus Prime H510M-K 2.0 motherboard.

Sounds like you might have accidentally loosened a cable when you removed the GPU. Have you double-checked all the connections to make sure everything is snug? Sometimes a small cable can cause these issues if it’s not properly seated.

I thought about that too, but I checked everything thoroughly and couldn't find any loose cables.
