I experienced a power outage that turned back on a few times while I was using my computer. Now, it doesn't signal to my monitors and shuts off after about 30 seconds. I'm worried something might be seriously wrong. Any ideas?

Sounds like your power supply unit (PSU) might be dead, especially if the outages were sudden. Do you know your system specs? That can help narrow it down.
You could try a reset by unplugging everything from your PC, turning off the PSU switch, and holding the power button for about 20 seconds. This discharges any leftover electricity. Then plug everything back in and see if it starts up again.
My friend had a similar issue, and it turned out to be their motherboard instead of the PSU. If you can, try testing them separately to see which one is causing the problem.
If it actually blew up, you'd definitely know! I once had a PSU blow and it was pretty dramatic—sparks and smoke everywhere. Luckily, it only affected the PSU and I got a warranty replacement. You might want to take your computer to a local repair shop to diagnose the issue.

I tried that but it didn’t help. Thanks for the suggestion though!
