My PC’s Screen Went Dark While Gaming – Help!

So I was gaming when suddenly my screens turned off, but I could still hear sound and the system was running fine. I've noticed that the red VGA light on my motherboard has turned on, which seems to point to an issue with my GPU. I've done a ton of troubleshooting: I've reconnected the power cord to my GPU, uninstalled and reinstalled the GPU drivers, and checked the HDMI and DisplayPort cables going to my monitors. I even tried replugging the big 24-pin connector to my motherboard and switching power outlets for my PC. I also unplugged an old HDD, but nothing seems to work. This all happened randomly, and I don't think I did anything unusual. My PC has been good to me for a few years, too!

Just to add, I noticed the fans on my GPU aren't spinning even though the RGB lights are on. Everything else in my PC is still working—peripherals light up and fans are running, it's just the screens that are off. Here's my system info: CPU is a Ryzen 7 3700x, GPU is a Gigabyte Vision OC RTX 3060 12GB, PSU is a Corsair AX750 Gold, RAM is G.Skill Ripjaws 2 x 16GB DDR4-4000, and my motherboard is an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max.

It sounds like your GPU might not be getting enough power, especially if the fans aren't spinning. This can happen for various reasons, like using pigtail connectors that aren't recommended or just a drop in power from your PSU. Have you checked all the power connections? Also, how's the PSU doing in terms of age? Sometimes they can fail over time, which might explain the sudden issue.

Hmm, what would cause a drop in power like that out of nowhere? Also, what's a pigtail connector? I’ve been using my PC for years without any issues.
