My Phone’s LED Stopped Working After a Soapy Water Drop – Any Fixes?

I dropped my phone on its bottom into soapy water, and while the audio was initially a bit distorted, it seemed to clear up for a while. Then my phone started glitching, and eventually, the LED just stopped working altogether. I can still use the phone, like talking to my AI assistant and the facial recognition works, but without the LED, I can't tell if the phone is on or off. Luckily, it's not on mute, or I wouldn't have any idea! Any advice on how to fix this?

If you're not using isopropyl alcohol, it's a good idea to at least wipe it down properly with tap water and then let it dry. Make sure to give it some time to dry out completely before turning it back on.

Have you tried turning it off and cleaning it with some isopropyl alcohol? It's important to let it dry out completely. Sometimes water damage can be tricky, but cleaning it might help restore some functionality.
