Hey everyone! I just got a new HP laptop, and I was messing around with the mouse settings. It says 'down motion scrolls down,' but it's actually scrolling up instead. I'm confused about what's going wrong. Do I need to connect an external mouse for these settings to work properly, or should the built-in trackpad handle the scrolling too?

Try pressing the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog. Then type 'Control main.cpl' and hit OK. Check the tabs there related to the touchpad settings—those will depend on your driver, but you should be able to make some adjustments for scrolling.
