My wife and I used an audio guest book at our wedding that saves recordings to an SD card. It looks like we have an 8GB micro SD card from V7 World. My wife was able to access the recordings via her iPad until last week, but now no device we try—whether it's an iPad, phone, or laptop—can detect the card. We've tried different adapters, but nothing seems to work. I'm starting to fear that the card might be fried based on what I've read. Can anyone offer some advice or help? Thanks in advance!

Honestly, it sounds like you've got a dead card, but I've been wrong before! Sometimes just reseating the card or trying a different slot can help.
SD cards can be pretty unreliable and sometimes fail unexpectedly. But don’t lose hope just yet! I once had a situation where an SD card worked in a camera but not with an adapter. I ended up connecting the camera directly to my computer with a micro-USB cable, and it read the card just fine. Maybe give that a shot if you have a camera handy!
If it's possible, try to restore any available backups you might have. Sometimes that can save you a lot of trouble if the SD card is indeed dead.

I’ll definitely try this when I get home from work! Thanks for the tip!
