After trying Proton VPN on my Windows 11 HP Omen 16, I decided to uninstall it because it wasn't working for me. Since then, my internet has been acting up—sometimes it shows I'm connected, but there's actually no internet access. I've tried a few solutions, but nothing seems to bring back my internet. Can anyone help?

You might want to reset your network settings. Just go to Settings, then Network & Internet, and look for Advanced network settings. From there, choose Network Reset. If that alone doesn’t fix things, make sure to check your network adapters and uninstall any remnants of ProtonVPN that are still hanging around.
If you’ve already tried resetting the network settings and removing ProtonVPN, you might also want to consider reinstalling the network drivers. Sometimes that can solve connection issues after removing VPN software.
Just a heads-up: making tweaks to BIOS or disk settings can potentially lead to data loss, so be sure to back up your important files first! Always good to be safe when troubleshooting.
