I have a limited time of 40 minutes to decide on a monitor for my PC. I appreciate quality but I'm also into competitive gaming. I'm trying to choose between 1080p and 1440p. My setup includes a 5060ti GPU and a Ryzen 7 7700x, so I'd love to get some suggestions!

I'd go for 1440p since you can always lower the resolution to boost your frame rates if needed for certain games. Plus, 1440p looks amazing!
If your graphics card can handle it, 1440p is definitely the way to go. A lot of gamers agree that around 27 inches is a sweet spot for 1440p screens. Plus, you can find 1440p monitors that perform well in gaming—very few issues with input lag or smearing.
If you really want immersion, consider a 34-inch ultra-wide 1440p. They are fantastic for gaming and productivity!
Honestly, it's hard for us to give recommendations without knowing your budget or what country you're in! But if budget isn't a concern, I'd leans towards 1440p!
Budget doesn't matter for me, I'm just looking for the best performance.
If you play a lot of fast-paced esports like Fortnite or Valorant, a 240Hz 1080p monitor might be worth it if you want to save some cash. But if you're okay spending more, definitely get a 1440p high refresh rate monitor!
Yeah, but will 1440p give me a good refresh rate too?
You might want to check out the AOC Q27G3XMN. It's a fantastic 1440p monitor with a Mini LED panel. I've been using one with no issues, and the colors are vibrant!
So if I choose 1440p, can I find options with high refresh rates like 180Hz and above?
