Need Advice on Building a Gaming PC for WoW

Hey everyone! I'm trying to upgrade from my old PC that I built ages ago, and I'm really struggling. I mostly play World of Warcraft (the retail version), and my goal is to run it on ultra settings without dealing with terrible frame rates. It would be great to also play some newer games, but WoW is my main focus. I'm on a budget of about $1200-$1300. I've put together a list of parts on PC Part Picker, and I would love some feedback on it: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WMvMh7](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WMvMh7). Is it good, or should I be looking at other options? Also, should I consider waiting for Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales? Thanks for your time!

Your build looks solid overall! You might want to save a bit on the SSD by going with a Samsung EVO or Crucial P3, as they can offer good performance at a lower price.

That’s a pretty good setup! If you tweak it a little, you could bring the price under $1200. I recommend swapping the 9700X for a 9600X; it's a bit cheaper but should still serve you well. Also, I'd buy now rather than waiting for Black Friday, so you can start enjoying your games sooner!

I've made a few changes to your build that might help: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zh7xzP](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zh7xzP). Also, take a close look at the case clearance for your CPU cooler and GPU. Don't forget to add extra fans if you can; it helps keep everything cool! You can always add more SSDs later if you need more storage. 2TB SSDs are usually around $90.

Just a note: when adding fans, I usually run them straight off the PSU—it’s simple and cheap. Antec fans are pretty reliable!
